Lots has happened since I last updated. I went for an interview and I was in the final two candidates, but they chose someone else. They did like me a lot though and forwarded my resume to a temp agency in Daytona. I also struck gold and got an interview with a company here in the city I am living in. I had to pass three tests in order to get an interview, thankfully I passed and my interview is tomorrow.
I really want this job it is geographically desirable and it is something new and exciting and good money for Florida. I am very excited. I started dating a new guy and now I can officially call him my "boyfriend". I like him a lot he is 39, very driven and a overall fantastic individual. I conquered the mean streets of Daytona. I was worried about driving there with all the one way streets and U turns, but I did it. Growing up in the Boston area we are not used to streets that run parallel to one another. Most streets are old wagon trails and one ways. Here everything leads back to your original point, but the streets are all one ways and sometimes you can't go left at a set of lights. You always have to be paying attention. I really miss knowing where I am going all the time, although since I have been here I have been driving a lot more and I can navigate around pretty good now.
I also saw my first poisonous snake today. P was mowing the lawn and came across it. It wasn't super huge, but it wasn't super small neither. SCARY!!!! So far since I have been in Florida I have seen one spider, which could or could not have been a brown recluse and a little tiny black spider and the snake. It is now summertime so the prehistoric shit is going to be coming out soon. Hot and humid brings big and scary. Blegh! I get the creepy crawlys thinking about it.
Till next time..

Change of Life
This is going to be a fast update since I don't have a lot of time on the computer. I have been living in Florida now for over a week and boy what a change. The driving is taking a lot longer to get used to than I thought. Old people drive slooooooooooooooooow and they cut you off and don't really pay attention to the rules of the road.
Life here has been different, yet good. I don't have cable right now and I have limited access to a computer so I am pretty much cut off from the outside world. That is ok though I kind of like it. I read the paper and get my news from there. I have been trying to find a job, which is still an ongoing process. I miss my friends and family, but I don't miss MA not one bit. I have been re living my twenties with people over every night and partying all the time. I love it! I am dating a new guy life is looking up!
